The Young Rider Gear Up initial course dates

Mums and Dads.....The Young Rider Gear Up initial course dates have been released:

18th April 2026 at Exeter Police Station (Nearly full)

2nd May 2026 at Bodmin Police Station

There are a number of young riders who are unable to reach either of these venues, so please be aware I am setting up courses for Falmouth, Plymouth and Barnstaple areas so that no one will miss out, we are looking at community hubs, local police stations and village halls to make the courses as accessible as possible.

The courses are free and will involve a lot of fun, road safety input, simulator hazard awareness, first aid input, slow riding skills and a short observed ride from experienced police staff / officers. Photo opportunities with all the police bikes and course attendees for those that want it.

If your family members are between 17-24 and ride a 125cc machine (or about to ride one) please email me dave.burrows@devonandcornwall.pnn.police.uk we have attracted over 120 young riders to date, lets see if we can be greedy and help as many as possible.
